Some of my favorite Tacoma Cafes
include the lucky penny cafe in the heart of downtown Tacoma, where you can find Fried rice, Korean beef over rice, sandwiches, bagels and cream cheese, and more.
You can the cafe at 950 Pacific Ave, Tacoma, WA 98402.
Starbucks: This is where it get’s cliche.
But I love me my white chocolate mocha grande with a cheese danish or seasonal cookie while I work on my websites. There is nothing like being in a cozy environment.
Plus, I love Howard Schultz and what he stands for when it comes to his employees.
The 208 Garfield is amazing and located a bit further in Parkland, 15 minutes from Downtown Tacoma.
You can have a nice drink of wine with enough space for you to get your work done.
College students at the nearby PLU frequent there.
You can find them at 208 Garfield St S, Tacoma, WA 98444.
Tully’s: Another cliche cafe.
But their banana bread is one of my favorites next to the dilettante mocha cafe’s banana bread in Seattle.
Finding cafes with cozy seating space can be hard, but Tully’s does not disappoint.
Address:764 Broadway, Tacoma, WA 98402
is one of my favorite late night cafes that I went to when I was doing college work with a classmate.
It can get packed so be prepared to have to wait for seating or have a backup place in mind.
The awesome side of this cafe is that it’s opened 24 hours.
Address: 2421 S Union Ave, Tacoma, WA 98405
Tacoma Cafes: There are many gems
There are so many Tacoma Cafe gems in the city, that I have not gone over all of them, and I only wanted to touch on the ones I can personally speak on.
There a few popular ones such as the Red Elm Cafe, Pacific Coffee House, Marcia’s Silver Spoon Cafe, Evergreen Cafe, Over the Moon Cafe and more, some of them being your traditional American-comfort diners.
