Tacoma Community College Financial aid
I attended TCC in 2014 and coming from a low-income background, I was eligible for financial aid, the process is fairly simple, and TCC has on-campus financial aid advisors that will help you with the paperwork.
If you’re going to take adult basic education classes, financial aid, unfortunately, might not cover the cost of your tuition and books. So be prepared to cover the cost out of pocket.
The kind of programs tcc offers
TCC offers quite a few opportunities when it comes to achieving your higher learning such as their basic area of study, their career training programs, and their bachelor degrees that will launch in the fall of 2018.

When I was attending I chose to go for their basic arts and science degrees and took some business and English classes.
I choose their Option A Arts and Science degree because I wasn’t sure what I wanted to major in, however, I knew I wanted to do an English or Business degree.
Option B is for art students, so if you don’t know what you want to do, art and science degree may be your best bet.
TCC’s Adult Basic Education
Adult Basic education is for those who need some improvement in their English, writing, reading, computer and mathematics skills. Tuition isn’t that expensive, tuition for all basic skills programs is $25 per quarter and $5-$15 materials fee charged for most classes.
For eligibility, you must be of 19 years of age or older and released from high school before enrolling. For more on adult education visit here
